Program Description

The Spiritual Intelligence (SQ) concentration provides an academically grounded and interdisciplinary focus on spiritual formation, theological reflection, leadership theory, and applied ministry praxis within the Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) program. The concentration consists of 18 doctoral-level credit hours, embedded within the total 54-credit Th.D. program. Dissertation research credits may be thematically aligned with the SQ concentration, subject to approval by the faculty advisor and academic committee.

The program is offered in a flexible online and hybrid format, enabling students to remain actively engaged in ministry while pursuing advanced theological study. Core courses are delivered fully online through 8-week modular formats, while selected practicum courses and dissertation seminars may include optional hybrid or synchronous components, such as on-site intensives or live Zoom seminars. This structure supports global and bi-vocational learners while maintaining academic rigor and fostering spiritual and professional development.
